These days, an increasing number of car shoppers opt for the post-negotiation vehicle demonstration and test drive. The most common reason is to prevent any emotional attachment to the vehicle before confirmation of a deal (or loan approval) acceptable to both the customer and the dealer. But, the disadvantages to this approach far outweigh the advantages; and prove the pre-negotiation vehicle demonstration and test drive to be a best practice for the customer.
